In the past years, we’ve dedicated substantial resources to elevate our team and facilities, transforming ptw Shipyard into a hub for superyacht refit and repair. From upholstery to joinery, and hydraulics to specialist electronics, we’ve assembled our dedicated in-house teams, ensuring service quality and meticulous attention to detail with every project.

 

Unlike some competitors who rely on contract workers, we pride ourselves on having our in-house teams for engineering, metalwork, electrics, systems, AV/IT networks, yacht paint, carpentry & interiors. This approach ensures a consistent service offering you peace of mind. It’s no wonder that many loyal yachts return to us year after year, appreciating our desire to build strong relationships.

 

What sets us apart is not only our commitment but also our strategic location in the delineated customs area of Tarragona, offering preferential tax breaks that can result in savings of up to 21% on yacht major refits and maintenance projects for non-EU vessels.

 

Our marine travel lift can handle vessels up to 300 tonnes, accommodating yachts up to 45 metres on our extensive hard standing. We’re also equipped to work on larger yachts, up to 120 metres, right at the client’s berth.

 

When you’re not overseeing your yacht’s refit, you’ll find the historic Port of Tarragona to be a captivating place. This vibrant city offers a bustling nightlife, blue-flag beaches, and easy access to Barcelona, reachable in just over an hour by car or train. We’re also conveniently situated for air travel, with Reus Airport just 15 minutes away and Barcelona El-Prat, Spain’s second-largest international airport, within an hour’s reach.
